Sisters Supporting Sisters

Business of the Month

A trusted marketplace inside the sisterhood — where sisters discover, recommend, and benefit from businesses owned by Muslim women.

The Noble Purpose

The idea behind featuring a Business of the Month is to introduce the sisters in our community to valuable businesses owned by Muslim women — while also highlighting services that many sisters genuinely need.

For example, a postpartum confinement care service. Many sisters may not even be aware that such services exist, or know where to find a trusted provider. By introducing these businesses to our community, we're not only supporting Muslim women entrepreneurs, but also connecting our members with beneficial resources.

Ultimately, the goal is to build a trusted marketplace within the sisterhood — one where sisters support sisters by discovering, recommending, and benefiting from businesses that align with our values.

This Month's Spotlight

Baba Pita Restaurant

A family-owned halal restaurant proudly serving the Chicago community since 2002. What began as a small neighborhood restaurant has grown into one of Chicago’s premier destinations for authentic halal Middle Eastern and Persian cuisine — dine-in, takeout, or full-service catering.

Why It Matters

A win for every sister at the table

Discover what you didn't know existed

Many sisters have never heard of services like postpartum confinement care — let alone where to find a provider they can trust.

Trust before transaction

Every feature is reviewed with our values in mind, so a recommendation from the sisterhood actually means something.

Real exposure for sisters in business

Muslim women entrepreneurs get introduced to a warm, targeted audience that already wants them to succeed.

Sustaining our programs

Affiliate partnerships allow the sisterhood to earn a small return that helps keep Real Sisters, Real Stories and our programs free, insha'Allah.

How It Works

From introduction to partnership

01

A sister shares her business

You apply, or a sister nominates a business she has personally benefited from.

02

We review it together

We look at the service, the values behind it, and whether it meets a real need in our community.

03

Affiliate link or referral code

Where possible: “Provide us with an affiliate link or referral code, and we'll introduce your business to our sisterhood.”

04

Featured for the month

The business is spotlighted on this page, in our circles, and shared with sisters who need it most.

Affiliate Partnerships

“Provide us with an affiliate link or referral code, and we'll introduce your business to our sisterhood.”

A win-win-win: the business gains exposure to a targeted audience, our sisters discover trusted services, and the sisterhood can generate affiliate income that helps support and sustain our programs, insha'Allah.
